  1. Went and played a little par 32, 9 hole course before it starts raining down here. Missed a couple of birdie putts but I was extremely excited about the results. For the first time ever I broke 40 by shooting a 39 and also for the first time I caught the ball just right on a drive and hit it 310 yards (slightly down hill but I'll take it). Swings just all felt right and, if I didn't have a couple of shanks which put me in difficult positions under trees, that score would have been a lot better.
  2. I play most of the public courses in the Baton Rouge area
  3. Hi guys I've been "golfing" for about five years now but have never taken it more seriously than going out about once a month and getting frustrated hitting the ball, never really could hit good looking shots. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I focused on and then changed my swing and immediately started hitting shots that actually look good. Played 18 a couple of days ago and started off with 5 straight pars before hitting three double pars on the back nine to finish with a 98. So for the first time I actually feel like I can start getting some big improvements and hopefully can find some awesome stuff on this site. Helps that "winter" is in the rear view mirror in Louisiana so I can start playing a lot more.
