  1. I hope you are correct. That would make me feel a lot better.
  2. I 100% agree. Don't waste a drop. We have to get to 65% to 80% of folks vaccinated. We aren't going to get there by throwing the vaccines in the trash.
  3. Wow! That price is re-god-damned-diculous! Especially since I can see that thing dumping my clubs all over my trunk. Plus, you gotta get a completely different bag if you ever take a cart. I think I'll keep my Clicgear and my cart bag.
  4. I actually think he's an okay guy. He has his demons and his issues just like anyone else. I don't think he's inherently a "bad person" in any way. I wish him all the best in his pursuit. My guess is he'll never make a PGA tour event, but good for him to have a goal and a dream that's worth pursuing. There are a million worse things he could be trying to do.
  5. Okay, so I had a really good range session yesterday. I even got to hit balls off GRASS!!!!!! Yahoo! I didn't get any video. But judging from my divots and ball flight my swing path has improved. The plan for the rest of March: Get some more video. Get some trackman numbers. Continue to work drills to improve my release... it is still a power leak. Continue to practice setting up with my feet square or even a bit open to my target line. Confirm my swing plane. I think I'm starting to get very steep again. I'll need to confirm. Maintain my
  6. I thought you said he was hitting a wedge???? Funny story, Carl. So, 20-25 years ago, there was guy in my work golf league who always said he was a scratch player... at least that's what he told us. He also used to say he hit driver 300 yards (this was back when 300 yards was far.) We called the guy "half wedge", because every approach shot he'd say "This is a half-wedge for me". Every time I ever played with him, he'd say "Man, I don't think I've ever played this badly." The other thing he'd tell us is that he'd "Cave in the face" of his driver a couple times per year. So, he
  7. That thought had crossed my mind. What ever you do, don't tell my mom.
  8. Me too. You should always bring your current gamer with you to test side by side with what ever you are considering. Too generic to be of much help. Having said that I always read them cover to cover. I enjoy learning about what's out there. Even id I don't plan to buy anything for the next 5 years. Incidentally, I do the same thing with Automotive reviews. I find them interesting, even though I only buy a car about every 10 years.
  9. My parents got both doses of the Pfizer vaccine and neither of them had any issues at all, aside from mild soreness around the vaccination site. My mom is allergic to everything and has pretty much no immunity. She feels great. Personally, I think its just because its such a huge load off her mind.
  10. I'm very envious you were able to get vaccinated.
  11. Just Monday Ohio moved to only people over 60. A couple weeks before that it was only people over 65. A couple weeks before that it was only people over 75. "Essential" workers have been eligible since the get-go. I take exception to what is considered "essential" but that's a different story all together. I want to be clear. I really have no problem what so ever with them prioritizing by age. However, if that's what they are going to do, they should either figure out a way to only thaw out what they need, which in my opinion would be a system like schedule 100 appointments, thaw out 80
  12. Ah, that's the kind of comedy that's so funny you have to spell it Komedy!
  13. Well, a respected and well liked member like yourself could probably get away with such a thing. Where as I'm hanging on by a very thin thread. I'm sure I would be battered, beaten and banished. 😬 Personally, I'd watch any of the above. However, if I'm going to choose one, I'm picking the LPGA. It's my second favorite to watch, next after the PGA of course.
  14. I've always enjoyed Wolf and Critters.
  15. I didn't put the Champions Tour on the question for two reasons. One, I thought everyone would pick that. Two, the rules of the thread say "2, maybe 3" options.
  16. Would You Rather # 36. Let's pretend you can't watch the PGA tour for what ever reason. Would you rather watch a LPGA Event? or Would you rather watch a European Tour Event? or Would you rather watch a Korn Ferry Tour Event?
  17. Here's my pick. I've probably seen this movie 600 times.
  18. You and me both, brother. I think Mark would be the FIRST to admit that. He makes that point over and over again in his videos. MyGolfspy? I don't think he's trying to say or prove that anyway. I think he's trying to say that when you build your bag you can't do so by just hitting 7 irons and then buying the set. He's saying you need to evaluate where you are going to need the help. For example I may need some characteristics which are totally different with an 8 iron. And maybe there are no 3 irons that will work for me, and for a 5 iron there ar
  19. I have to agree with you here. There are lots of things that cause and prevent injury. It's a petty complex matrix. John Daly has been mostly injury free and his head dropped a ton, and he swung really hard. Plus he didn't take care of his body at all... I know, shocker. Other guys take great care of themselves and get injured. Sometimes trying to play through a small injury can lead to catastrophic ones. Data like that is very hard to wrap your head around. As a rule taking care of your body is a good idea, but there are no guarantees.
  20. I'm struggling a bit with this comment from you. Did you mean that our brain convinces us that we need a certain type of club for a certain type of shot and without data that may or may not be true? Because if that's what you mean, then I agree, that is kind of the point he's making. If you meant that our beliefs or "mental game" is more important than our equipment, then I didn't get that from the video at all. I thought his point was the skill of the golfer is more important than the equipment. So skill affects the game more than anything.
