  1. I've recently been experimenting with hitting bunker shots differently than what's conventional. What I do is: - use a chip type swing - ball position is middle to back - square clubface, slightly open stance - strong grip - hit slightly behind ball - much less swing speed than typical explosion shot, more like chipping effort The ball comes out a little low without much spin, and then runs more than typical explosion shots, but it seems like I'm more consistent now. It seems to even work in deep bunkers. Has anyone tried this, and if so, have you found it to be repeatable? Thanks.
  2. Tough to say since they're from different eras. I'd say Tiger has done more for the game - awareness, athleticism, diversity. If Tiger wins more majors, he'll have the title of greatest, but until then, it's probably a toss up.
