    My Swing (howleywood)

I'm all for it, I just don't know what to do, and whats the "big" things to fix.. This is merely documenting some sort of starting point and have a trained eye to see where my biggest hinderances may be. I like a lot of that article espeically in terms of slowing things down, that's probably my biggest downfall..I've tried to change feels at full speed which is why I feel it takes so long/goes nowhere.

Back again, just when you don't think the camera angles could good any worse.. On a side note, I don't know if it's from only swinging these clubs a few times (new after fitting, major changes in weight, length, grip from last set) or trying to tinker too much but I've never been so uncomfortable with an iron in my hand. Hoping its just part of the process because I truly don't know where the ball is going right now, but seems to be most pulls, even on good contact. I am going to take a week or two off from all golf related swinging and hoping for a reset...

    My Swing (howleywood)

Thanks guys! I hit a few balls in the basement working on getting the club up a little faster and did feel I was hitting the sweetspot and getting a lower/better launch. Never would of even thought of this, hoping to get a decent day for the range this weekend. Keep'em coming.

Interesting..I watched both videos but I am confused by what you mean...You say I come in steep on the downswing, but want me to take a more "up" backswing but wouldn't that also lead to a steep downswing?

Sorry! These were with the Trackman itself (I didn't even know I'd get these via email), but noted. Next time I am there I will try to get some video, unless it warms up for some outdoor driving range (highly unlikely till atleast March).

    My Swing (howleywood)

Greetings everybody! I've been Playing Golf for: few years seeing how drunk I can get while playing/not caring, Going in 3rd year of trying to improve My current handicap index or average score is: 15-20 (Guessing), have got as low as mid 80s to 100+ on a given day... My typical ball flight is: High, with slide fade left-right The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Working on consistency, typically tend to get a case of the chunks Typically, I feel I struggle with hip rotation and after seeing on video I feel I waste a lot of energy and space bringing the club back so far (even if it doesn't feel like I'm doing so). I recently got fitted for the first time by a local pro and he set me up with Mizuno JPX919 Hot Metal (4-P) with C-Taper Life X Stiff shafts. This is my first time swinging them (albeit in the "offseason" here in NJ) so I expect some initial breaking in period to having a completely different iron-set. Let me know what you think, here is a few track man stats/videos from some of the "solid" hits, which all varied in clubhead speed as I get used to whats comfortable. Videos: 4-Iron: 7-iron: 9-iron:
