Morning all from sunny Scotland (well sunny today!)
Thought i'd sign up after having a browse for the last few weeks, a little about me and my game. I used to play when i was 13-18 mainly as a school friend lived bang on the third hole of the local course so we could jump on late on play all the way to the 16th and then walk home! Got to 18 stopped playing as much as everyone moved away, girls and beer became a thing etc etc and didn't pick up a club until late 2018 oh and 15 years passed also!. Bought a second hand set of clubs from a friend and went out for a round with my BIL and 2 friends, really enjoyed it and even managed 2 pars and shot a 114, and that was the last time i played in 2018.
Played 4 rounds this year and its been the last 3 Sunday's and 1 midweek game, scores have been fairly consistent, 2 further 114 a 103 and then yesterday a 120!
Thought it pop on say hello and hopefully pick up some tips and tricks along the way!
Fort William Scotland Recommendations?
in Destinations and Travel
Hello!
Being a "local" lad (im Inverness so about 70miles from Fort William)
You have Fort William golf Club itself which is based in Fort William website as follow:
I have not personally played here as i've only recently picked up the clubs again myself, but i've heard good things about the course and as long as you get a good day it'll be a cracking view!
Dunvegan is almost the wrong end of Skye for Isle Of Sky Golf Club:
My friend is a member here as he works at one of the local hotel's restaurant hes only been playing around a year and says its challenging for all levels but does have some rewarding holes, much like Fort William as long as its a good day the views will be rewarding! We are planning a weekend playing here in July so if your trips after this ill let you know how i get on!
Any more info needed etc just let me know
