I've been Playing Golf for: 15 years My current handicap index or average score is: 78 My typical ball flight is: 200 yrd 7 Iron The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Shank, toe shots Hey guys, So almost instantly I started this awful habit of raising my hands at impact. I played HS and college golf and went from shooting in the 70's from the tips to shanking all of my irons, wedges and woods. I still beat my driver 300+ but I have this terrible habit of raising my hands at impact. I have watched a few videos of keeping the arms as close to the body as possible and emulating the same as you bring it forward, but I am still pretty vertical at the take away and even tho I am coming inside, I still am raising my hands. I literally went from hitting the ball well to hitting shanks for all of my irons or toe shots. Please help? How do I fix this!? Thank you!!
