  1. Thanks @boogielicious for the info and advice. I definitely will post a swing video to see what everyone thinks
  2. Thats what I was wondering. Could a heavier shaft help with consistency of strike giving a higher smash factor which would result in more distance?

  4. I can't see why they stopped the golf here myself. I think it's because other sporting bodies would complain too much
  5. Hi @mcanadiens, We are in the middle of a strict lockdown over here, so no golf for at least another month. Weather should be picking up by then. I'd play in a hurricane if I got a chance at the moment.
  6. Thanks for the reply. I thould the lighter shaft was for people with a slower swing(to swing faster). I am a fairly consistent striker of the ball but could always be better.
  7. Hi all, I'm a new member from wicklow, ireland. Playing golf 2 and a half years and am absolutely hooked. Always looking for advice and tips to improve. Cheers,
  8. Hi all, I'm new to the forum and have a question about iron shaft weight. I game mizuno 919 forged with a 105g dg shaft. I started golfing 2 and a half years ago and got fitted for the irons after about 6 months (not sure if this was too early to get fitted). I'm wondering if a heavier iron shaft would be a good idea (for consistency and distance) as my swing speed is a lot faster than it was originally. Thanks for any help and I'm looking forward to being more active on the forum. Cheers. Playing off 7.6
