  2. FWIW I've had great luck with 3balls.com . A buddy at work buys all his woods from http://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/ .
  3. Loved hearing the Standells out in Vancouver tonight. Go B's!!!!!
  4. I've started to regrip my set with the GP new decade half-cords. I love the feel of them.
  5. Up until this season I've had GolfPride Tour Velvet on all of my clubs. I've replaced most of my clubs since late last season and now I've got assorted OEM grips on everything. That's going to change soon, I'm just trying to figure out if I'm go back to the Tour Velvet or maybe switch to the new decade multi compound. I might get a couple done with the multi compound and make a decision then.
  6. When you start looking at carts, find a bag that is similar to yours and put it on the cart in the store to see how it fits. That'll give you the best idea of how everything will fit. That being said, I have a Callaway Warbird X stand bag and a Sun Mountain Speed Cart and it works fine, the bag does sometimes rotate, but not so much that I feel the need to get a new bag for the cart.
  7. I got an old Sun Mountain push cart this past season and I love it. I carried my first year playing, and by the end of a round the LAST thing I would want to do is pick up my bag after hitting yet ANOTHER lousy shot. The push cart is definitely the way to go for me.
  8. 1) Have fun 2) Practice more 3) Break 100 4) Keep[ working on the Stack and Tilt method
  9. It's listed as refurbished at Woot, idk the warranty
  10. FWIW woot has the callaway uPro for $99.99 link: Callaway uPro Golf GPS
  11. This past summer I switched from having PW(46º), 52º, 56º, and a 62º to just the PW, 52º and a 58º sand wedge. I use the 58º for most of my short shots around the green. I found that it helped my game to have fewer options. It feels like I have fewer options but that I can hit them more consistently.
  12. The e6+ was released in between other "e6" balls. I believe, though I might be wrong here, that the e6+ was simply the 2009 version of the ball.
  13. I've believed for a while that the term for the rear leg's movement should be "don't lock" rather than "don't straighten".
  14. Just one more indication that for all the noise made about the "Stack and Tilt" being a revolutionary swing it is really just sound fundamentals.
  15. According to her facebook page, Sara Brown is going to be on Golf Central tonight at 7PM eastern.
  16. I just picked up a 58º Vokey sand wedge and love it. I've been able to play all kinds of shots with it so far. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the top-brand names anyway and the differences between one brand vs another is probably minimal on something like a muscle-back wedge.
  17. The tips and the equipment articles are all just about useless. I've never seen any equipment that either magazine that didn't have a positive review. Occasionally you will come across a swing tip that makes sense for your game, but there are at least 50 useless tips for the one that you can use.
