Question. I Cary irons up to a 4 and have carried a rescue for a very long time. I hit my 4 about 235 to 240, and hit my rescue about 250. Then I have a 3 wood o hit about 270-275. Because I hit the ball farther than most, and the courses I frequently play are tight I find myself playing iron off of most tees. The issue I have is, if there is any headwind, my rescue balloons and goes nowhere. I am also more consistent with my irons, so I rarely take my rescue out of my bag. I want to replace it with something. I have considered a driving iron or a 2 iron. Any opinions on what direction I
I'm not asking so much for advice as much as thoughts and experiences that might help me make a decision.... so yeah, I guess that's kind of the same thing as advice:). After a few years of not using a hybrid, I put one back in the bag this year. It's a 4h from my old Adams A4 set. Initially, I was using it for select shots... hitting out of thick rough, trying to get more height when I needed it.... things like that.
