I have struggled with fairway woods. I have a senior-shafted Adams 2013 Tight Lies 5 wood with a shallow face. My instructor has me standing taller and a bit closer to the ball at address so that I swing a bit more upright and don't snatch the club back inside with my hands any more. After dedicated practice in setup and swing, I am starting to hit pretty well about 70% of the time, high and longer than my Mizuno JPX Fli-Hi 3 hybrid-iron which I love. Wondering: Since I highly value opinions of TSP members, what newer 5-woods are out there that you might recommend for a senior, slow swing high

Just curious if anyone is still gaming the original RBZ 3 wood and if you have any comparisons to current 3 woods. I got rid of mine and I think I want it back!

I play around 3 times a week and usually score in the 78-83 range with a few outliers, both better and worse. In the last two weeks or so, I have seen the worst round in probably 5 years or more, a really unusual 111 (was 102 ESC'd) and it was the only score above 98 this year out of 100 rounds or so. After a redeeming 79, I shot another score in the 90s, at 95 (92 ESC'd). Both of the stinkers had some horrendous fairway woods, some even leading to penalty strokes (hit of the very end of the toe, dead right), with both the 5 wood and the 3 wood. I spent some time on the range trying to wo

I know this may be difficult to discuss without looking at my swing; I have a M2 3 wood and a Callaway XR 5 wood. I hit my 5 wood really well. I hit it off the deck, on the tee box, from any lie, etc. It may be my favorite club in the bag. I normally only hit my M2 off the box. I have on occasion hit it off the deck. For some reason I struggle with the M2. Now it may just be a mental issue now but are there any reasons why (spec, length, etc.) anyone can think of as to why this makes sense? Am I crazy for looking to move away from the M2 and getting a XR 3 wood?

Bridgestone Golf j40 16* 4 wood head. This head is brand new and still in the plastic. This is the head only and does not come with a shaft. It is a stock head and has not been altered or modified in any way. If you are looking for a new fairway wood or a back-up that you can build to your specs, this is a good deal. Features and details include:-Larger profile design positions the CG in an ideal location for higher launch, longer carry, and maximum distance.-Stainless steel construction with thinner crown and shallow profile makes the head shape longer heel to toe for added forgiveness.-Tungs
