I have been playing footjoys for as long as I can remember and have typically spent from $120 - $180 for a pair. I am an old timer and fan of the saddle style shoes they make and always insisted on leather with a multiple year waterproof guarantee. This past August the sole separated from the top of the shoe and could not be repaired - This was the second season with the pair of Contours. So off the Dicks and since it is late in the season there were plenty of good footjoys in size 13, but nothing in my size. They did have a pair of the saddle greenjoys with a synthetic upper in my size on closeout for $49 and with my coupon I paid about $38. I have played multiple rounds including in some rain and they are as comfortable as I would expect from a footjoy and provide excellent support and traction. Again, I have had them for a short time, but looking for some opinions on the durability of the greenjoys. Have I been wasting my money all these years? I usually get 2-3 seasons out of a pair of golf shoes.
