I am new to the scene here in Carson and Reno I am from the Bay Area in California I enjoy often a lot of the beautiful costal golf spots there, few buddies of mine have brought me to a few nice gold grounds out here. I wanted to know most personally recommend golf grounds here in Northern Nevada. Seeking to find spots, I’m no professional but I enjoy golfing for the fun and the atmosphere of it. Shared some pictures of fun times in Pebble Beach beautiful weather love it there I go often.

Ok Fellow Golfers, I got some grand kids ages 1-8. The two oldest play in cali with my daughter and her husband at the navel base in Port Hunami. I have a 4 year old that I bought the little pink barbie Iron, driver and putter. Had her putting into a bucket on its side but that lost interest really fast, Getting warmer her so could be outside soon and would like to try to build her interest and keep it fun. any Ideas for keeping a 4 year olds attention for more than 5 minutes or am I doing good with that..lol. Thought Or Ideas?

Hey guys - been awhile since I posted, but i wanted to introduce everyone to a new version of golf I have been playing with my friends the last couple years... Click To See Rules This is a really fun way to play because it takes a lot of stress off the blow up holes because you are always playing for points over score. Anyone else do anything like this with their buddies?

Our committee called a meeting yesterday evening to collect new ideas for the club competition schedule next season. One idea which was enthusiastically adopted was to have at least 1 9-hole competition with an unusual, "fun" format. For example, I heard about a format where, before each shot, the club to be used was drawn from a bag containing scraps of paper with the names of each club, meaning that sometimes the players were teeing off with a putter or trying to play a bunker shot with a driver! Does anyone have any ideas/experience for this kind on non-serious competition format? I'd love

For the Architects / course designers out there a question: if you knew nothing about the current size of the golf hole , what size of hole would you create to have a balance of difficulty, speed of play and fun ?
