  1. The Titleist website has a tour and description of their manufacturing process for the ProV1 and ProV1X lines. It doesn’t go into great detail, but I found it interesting. I assume other balls are made in a similar fashion. Titleist Ball Plant 3 Digital Tour
  2. Hello guyz... I'm a new player.. I have a simple questions to know. Does choosing the right golf balls matters?
  3. Product Name: Custom Golf Tags Product Type: Customizable Ball Marking Aid Product Website: http://www.customgolftags.com Cost: $35 Reviewers: @billchao, @Club Rat, myself. This discussion thread is for Members to share their design, consultation, initial and ongoing impressions, and to answer questions by others for Custom Golf Tags, a unique way of creating custom ball marking templates. @scottyarcy, I'll tag you in here as well, as you can discuss and design each of the two other tags remaining with these guys so that others will be able to see what the process entails.
  4. Hey guys what's up. Have you ever thought about the importance of the golf ball and being fit for it? I would like to start a discussion on this topic. Let me know. If you don't yet know the difference between different balls I suggest taking a look here: https://www.golfgalaxy.com/s/golf-ball-comparison-chart It merely scratches the surface but it is very helpful in my opinion.
  5. Guys, I'm looking to put together a list of questions for Dean Snell of Snell Golf. Here are some pages with information: About Snell Golf About Dean Snell Dean's Work (Balls he created) Q&A with Dean Ask anything, but there are of course no guarantees that Dean will answer. After we have enough questions, I'll compile the list and send them along to Dean. At least, that's the plan. I haven't run this entire thing by Dean or Snell yet, but I think we have a good shot at it. You can ask multiple questions. If you want to build off a question
  6. I've been trying to determine the correct ball I should be playing. I don't know my clubhead swing (where do I get that clocked?), but I am a high handicapper and have never shot below 90. A lot of resources I've consulted have suggested 2-piece balls are good for beginners, but I also have a hard time keeping balls from rolling off the green. What is the common wisdom in this type of scenario? When is it time to start playing higher quality 4 piece balls?
  7. Product Name:GolfTags Product Type: Customized Ball Marking Stencil Product Website/URL: http://www.customgolftags.com/ Cost: $35 Ratings (out of 5): Quality: 2 Value: 2 Effectiveness: 2 Durability: 2 (first impression, will increase the score if it is more durable than I think it is) Esthetic Appeal: 1 Link to Discussion Thread My Member Review GolfTag is a customized ball marking stencil made by 3D printing. You submit a picture and they work with it to make a design that works within the limitations of the manufacturing proces
  8. This past week I purchased a box of the project a balls. I wasn't sure what to expect. They say what everyone else says about their ball. Long, soft, spin, etc. I played two rounds with them and I have to say I was pleased. I hit two of the longest drives I've hit in a long time. It could have been a fluke, but maybe not. Around the greens they were nice to. I normally play the prov 1 or the prov 1 x, but I think I'll stick with these for a little while longer. I also like the price. And even better, Walmart sells them. Let me know if anyone has played these balls and what you liked
