I am getting ready to sell a set of irons and eight pull-out Project X shafts in our Marketplace forum. I want to set up a PayPal account mainly for personal transactions like this, golf clubs and maybe a book or two. I want to be able to buy or sell on occasion. Should I opt for a Personal or a Business version of PayPal? The PayPal phone advisor said if I had a business account I could link in my business website and get better promo of the business. Thing is, I don't have a golf equipment website and business; most of the sales or purchases would be one-shot things mediated by our Sand Trap Marketplace forum, or a simple person-to-person over e-mail. Should I set up a Personal or Business account, or doesn't it really matter in my case?
Stopped by the local Sports Authority today to check the closeout sale. Most items including golf are 30% off. Good chance to pick up drivers, FWs and hybrids for TM Aeroburner and SLDR, plus Nike Vapor Speed. Brand name golf bags have also been discounted, including TM, Callaway, Titleist and Ogio. Gloves: Some Bionic StableGrip, plus second tier models. // Lots of Tommy Armour golf balls of different sorts, along with hitting nets and other training stuff. Note: Store fixtures are for sale, including an indoor hitting net for golf (which I don't think they ever hung up). SA had a putting green, but no place to hit clubs. (I used to get workout gear at SA).
