  1. Hello! I'm looking to change from standard size grip to midsize. I have played NDMC for a few years now and i think they are alright/good. I looked around on a few forums and found that people liked the crosslines and i thought about giving them a go. The thing is i also read that the new crosslines isn't as good as the old ones? I'm afraid that the good things i have read about the crossline only applies to the old crossline. I'm also looking at some MC PLATINUM which looks good but i'm not sure they are worth twice the crossline. These are the two i'm considering: Lamki
  2. I've tried a few since I generally buy used clubs. I started with Tour Velvets, but I have tried multi-compound, full cords, wraps, basic rubber, super tack, etc. However, I've settled on Golf Pride CP2 Wraps and Pros in midsize. They're very soft and tacky, but what I like most is the lack of taper. What do you guys and gals prefer?
  3. The just released Lamkin Z5 grips are a good looking option with five zones with different textures and composition to lighten grip pressure and increase speed. These are multi-compound, like Golf Pride's very popular New Decade line, cord under the top hand and rubber under the lower. They come in three color choices: blue, red and black. I just regripped a couple clubs with the Z5s to see how they play. Initially, I really like the feel. The different zones also make great indicators for taking precise hand positions on the club. I'm looking forward to getting some more rounds in
  4. Lamkin is once again offering a special edition of its grips as an homage to the first major of the men's season, and this year you can outfit your putter, too. Each of the grips is vivid green with golf trim and a white Lamkin logo. Available special edition models include the Wrap-Tech and UTx, as well as the new SINK putter grip. The Wrap-Tech combines a double-helix pattern with a patented ACE compound for shock absorption, comfort and control, while UTx features Tri-Layer Technology to promote traction, torsion control and grip stability. On the green, SINK grips promote proper wris
  5. Lamkin Justin Rose (Less Tapered) Grip with Tungsten Counterweight of 17.5g. $7.99 - good deal if it works for you. Benefits Touted: Smoother Transition, Added Ball Speed, Better Accuracy See www.lamkingrips.com and go to Products Yes, I'm going to buy a few and give them a shot. I have balance certified weights - a bit more sophisticated than a plain weight in the back of the grip. It consistents of a 6-inch rod inserted into the grip or into the shaft (before grip install) with weights at the end of the rod. I like the extra weight in a wedge, especially in the SW and LW
