Hello! I'm looking to change from standard size grip to midsize. I have played NDMC for a few years now and i think they are alright/good. I looked around on a few forums and found that people liked the crosslines and i thought about giving them a go. The thing is i also read that the new crosslines isn't as good as the old ones? I'm afraid that the good things i have read about the crossline only applies to the old crossline. I'm also looking at some MC PLATINUM which looks good but i'm not sure they are worth twice the crossline. These are the two i'm considering: Lamkin crossline or MC platinum Which ones would you go for? Thanks in advance.
I've tried a few since I generally buy used clubs. I started with Tour Velvets, but I have tried multi-compound, full cords, wraps, basic rubber, super tack, etc. However, I've settled on Golf Pride CP2 Wraps and Pros in midsize. They're very soft and tacky, but what I like most is the lack of taper. What do you guys and gals prefer?
The just released Lamkin Z5 grips are a good looking option with five zones with different textures and composition to lighten grip pressure and increase speed. These are multi-compound, like Golf Pride's very popular New Decade line, cord under the top hand and rubber under the lower. They come in three color choices: blue, red and black. I just regripped a couple clubs with the Z5s to see how they play. Initially, I really like the feel. The different zones also make great indicators for taking precise hand positions on the club. I'm looking forward to getting some more rounds in with these and see how they react over time. Anybody else tried these?
