http://dicks.com/rorywins So my question is simply this: what's to stop someone from buying an M5 Tour (like I did earlier today), leaving it in the package to see if Rory wins, and returning it well within the 60-day return window if Rory doesn't win the PGA Championship, and cashing in on the free driver if he does win? I read through the terms and conditions and I don't see anything that jumps out. Worst case I just pretend this contest doesn't even exist, and I can return the driver the Friday of the PGA if he's well out of it, misses the cut, or whatever. Or by the end of the 60

What in your personal opinion, either from going yourself to a PGA event or hearing from a reputable source, is/are the best course(s) to follow around your favourite player(s)? - sightlines - ease to follow through all 18 holes - viewing multiple holes from one area

Well, today I passed all of my Level 3 tests for the PGA apprentice (or "associate"?) program. I emailed in my application for membership, and the next election date is apparently July 2. So far as I know, I'll be elected to membership on July 2… and become a PGA Class A Member with an A-6 classification (https://www.pga.com/pga-america/pga-information/pga-america-member-classifications - Golf Instructor). So, about $10k and nearly eight years (seriously, my deadline for not having to restart from square 1 is July 23) later… here I am. It all started back on May 7, 2010… Contin

Relative to the entirety of a PGA career, Spieth is still in his childhood years of the tour despite his wild success already. But seeing how the emergence and resurgence of so many golfers to the top of the game has resulted in such a competitive landscape to where a more than a handful of guys can win on Sunday, do you all think he will raise his play to a higher level as we have seen previously? He is still playing killer golf, but his performances haven't been out of this world like we saw in the last couple years. This is NOT a "Spieth is declining" post but rather wondering if he can amp

Heard it on sports radio today. Apparently Tiger has committed to play at Riviera CC, in the "whatever it is called now" Open! Or Invitational! It's a new name now, and I don't really recall it. Apparently this a blast of nostalgia since this was the first pro tourney Tiger played in as a Sophomore in high school at the age of 16. Hope this isn't the start of of a "farewell" tour!

A long blog entry nobody will probably care to read (which is fine by me): Apparently only 2% of people who attempt the PAT pass on their first try, and only 50% of the people who attempt it eventually pass.... ever. So I'm in not only the 50%, but the 2%. Long story short, I had my C game today but gutted it out. I was on the number with two holes to play, and I had to hit a green from 232 yards on the 35th hole and I had to make a ten footer for par on the 36th hole. Both shots were played to near perfection. I'm really proud of myself today. A pair of 77s aren't gre
