Hi everyone im new to the site and ive recently made the decision to start playing golf everyday, have stuck to it for 2 weeks and plan to carry on. I really want to improve my game alot so came here to see what drills everyone recommends which will dramaticly improve a specific thing in my game rather than me just going round everyday not improving too much. For example, the drill where you place two tees either side of your ball on the putting green, i was wondering if someone could clarify that one up for a start so i know what it improves and how to do the drill talked about. If everyone can let me know some drills like this in that format, it would really improve my game and i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. 🙂
Far too many people judge the quality of their practice by the quality of the shots they hit when they practice. I choose to judge the quality of my practice by how much I succeeded at learning and improving. I've had great range sessions where I didn't hit a single ball terribly solidly. I've had great range sessions where I didn't hit a ball, with a 6-iron, over 50 yards. I've had great range sessions where I know I'm going to hit a bunch of shanks, and when I do, take that as proof that I'm changing the thing I'm trying to change. There's no scorecard on the range, and nobody hands out a trophy for a great range session. But if there was a trophy, it should say "Most Improved."
OK looking to get a new bag soon .. i think i want a cart bag . my budget is 250.00 usd or under . my putter has a midsize grip . my question is there a big difference in quality between bag manufactures . i was looking at callaway org 14 bag as all my clubs are callaway at this time .but sun mountain bags look very nice and ogio bags also look nice and look a little cheaper . i want whatever bag i buy to hold up. as i currently have a maxfli stand bag that i like, but when i remove my clubs threads are coming out. and also wrap around my grips. .... also i walk about half the time and use a two wheel pull cart when i do. will a stand bag or cart bag be better for the pull cart ? thanks for any answers .
