Hello again golf fans and welcome to another edition of Hittin’ the Links. So what do you think Tiger had to do to get Lindsey Vonn’s parents to come out publicly and give him the thumbs up? Expensive dinner perhaps, extravagant gifts, maybe he just wrote them a blank check? Anywho, you just can’t seem to look anywhere at the supermarket checkout line and not see a picture of the two of them smiling ear to ear. Personally, I hope them the best, all we can hope for in this life is to be happy and they seem to be enjoying each others company, a lot!

In this edition of HtL, we check out Tigers newest approval, then look into Greg Norman’s thoughts on drug testing, and take a peek at the three-legged beast of the Zurich Classic. The Azaleas are blooming, the pimento sandwiches are made, and the green jackets are pressed…it must be Masters time. Hello, golf fans and welcome to the Master’s edition of HtL. Its my favorite time of the year when everyone turns their attention to the city of Augusta, Georgia and the Masters. It was only two years ago when I myself finally had the chance to walk those hollowed fairways and see what all the fuss was about. Augusta National is beautiful on television, but one cannot completely understand its grandeur without seeing it firsthand. Its like no other place on earth.

Nice weather they were having in Florida. It took Tiger a whole extra day to regain his number one status. Better late than never, I guess. Let’s see won three times already, number one in the world again, and dating Lindsey Vonn; it’s good being Tiger.

This week’s PGA Tour event was a little anti-climactic as many of the most popular players decided to stay home and fill out their brackets. Donald Trump plans to “blow it up” starting immediately after this weekend’s event. What we will get when he’s done with the Blue Monster is anyone’s guess.

Who says it’s always warm in Arizona. It was more than a little chilly for the final rounds of the match play this weekend. It didn’t seem to slow down Matt Kuchar much, as he seemed to handle the cold and wind very well. Even if he did have to wear Titleist cold weather gloves.

Well golf fans it looks like the PGA Tour is finally going to break its silence concerning the proposed ban on anchored putters. With the clock running down on giving input to the USGA on the subject, the Tour is talking, and it doesn’t sound like the USGA and R&A are going to like what they have to say. This should be real interesting as it plays out over the next few years.
