Wow, Jack has just reiterated what Vijay was chastised for, albeit Vijay targeted his comments at just one specific group of golfers. But notice how there was no backlash for Jack for his comments.
I couldn’t agree more with his comments that the $ is spoiling the young guys out there. The irony is that one would have thought that if a golfer was secure in his finances, he’d be freed up from all the worries about making ends meet and would therefore be able to focus on his golf and on winning. But, its worked out in the opposite. With all that $ in the bank, these guys have lost the desire/fire to take it to the next level. Its become “I’ll do what I can” vs “I’ll do my absolute best”. Sad.
