Sergio Garcia wins the biggest event of his life so far (with possible exception to the British Am), and owes a big gust of wind for the assist. Plus Sorenstam cleans up at Kingsmill and a whole lot more in this episode of Golf Talk.

This show was recorded with Audio Hijack Pro over a Skype connection. We then used Soundtrack Pro to edit the show and GarageBand to produce the AAC file from the AIFF file, to add the artwork, and so forth. Feeder was used to create the XML file.
Note: This is an AAC (MP4) file, an open file format. iTunes – free software – can play AAC files, as can numerous other players, though we heartily recommend iTunes.

It appears that I may have been a bit off in carrying forth the notion that Sergio is a tremendous ball striker. Though he seems to have good weeks, those are off-set apparently by some pretty horrible weeks. On his good weeks, I don’t doubt he could hang with Tiger.
Comparing their stats, we see the following:
2008 (Driving Accuracy, GIR, Proximity to the Hole):
Sergio: 113, 8, 74
Tiger: 137, 1, 16
2007 (Driving Accuracy, GIR, Proximity to the Hole):
Sergio: 148, 105, 74
Tiger: 152, 1, 3
2006 (Driving Accuracy, GIR, Proximity to the Hole):
Sergio: 129, 37, 93
Tiger: 139, 1, 1
