Happy Easter from Hittin’ the Links. I certainly hope most people enjoyed better weather than they had at Doral on Sunday. I know the members at Isleworth Country Club cannot be too happy with what has transpired, as it has cut into the playing of The Tavistock Cup. The official Tavistock Cup website has a press release stating there is a two and a half hour delay for the start of play. I guess you do anything to get Tiger there.

In this edition of HTL we check in on the ailing David Feherty, see where they plan to play the Byron Nelson, and investigate what golf balls and condoms have in common. Hello and good day to you from Hittin’ the Links. I fear I spoke of Spring too soon in last week’s column as Mother Nature dealt us a healthy dose of winter weather soon after. Either way those warmer temperatures get closer every day.

With the season just around the corner I have compiled a few links in this edition with a preseason feel to them. It’s not too late to start a spring ritual that will ultimately pay off by season’s end. Plus, many of us have that winter spare tire we could stand to lose.

In this edition of Hittin’ the Links we look at everything healthy, including The Titleist Performance Institute, see what you can do to get those clubs in proper order, and investigate a few other things that can be done to get ready for Spring. In addition, we check out grips on the PGA Tour, try and figure out what’s wrong with Arron Oberholser, spy on where Tiger will be practicing next season, see who is in trouble with the law, and check in on the tournament winners.

Hello and happy March to you from Hittin’ the Links. Can you smell that? That is spring coming! Golf season is rapidly approaching. Have you gotten those clubs out of the closet and given them a preseason pep talk? Well you best get to it.

It is the time of the year where everyone starts to make those preseason goals and begin dreaming of a season free of double bogeys and full of low scores. Don’t forget to join the forum and post your 2008 goals. At the end of the season it’s always nice to look back and see how you progressed.

Good day from The Sand Trap and Hittin’ the Links. I don’t mean to gloat but we had glorious weekend weather here. Spring fever is now in full swing. Probably just in time for the next snow storm. Golf season cannot get here fast enough.

Wow, what a weekend of golf. The Accenture Match Play championship delivered the goods, beautiful golf course, great golf, what else could you want? And that Tiger guy, he’s pretty good isn’t he?

In this edition, we take a couple of looks at the Accenture Match Play, check in on the other PGA Tour event south of the border, and also take notice of the rest of the professional tours around the world. At least you Bostonians still have your beloved Red Sox.
