Well, the PGA Tour season has started, and honestly, I’m not that excited about it. Maybe I should qualify that with a “yet.” It seems like they just finished the 2005 season! And with the silly season, I didn’t even get a break. Maybe I’m one of the few who gets burned out from all the television coverage. But for me, I would rather watch golf when I can get inspired and go play right after. Am I the only one?
Now, on to the links.
Hole1: Golf and Beer
This is from Rafi in the forums. I’ll warn you, my proxy here at work flags this site as inappropriate, so you might want to wait until you’re home to enjoy. [link]
Hole 2: Sports frog
I like sportsfrog.com. Occasionally, you’ll get some golf content on there as well. Check ’em out. [link]
Hole 3: Golf Cart Getaway
Now, this is a doozy. A guy tries to get away with a roast in a golf cart!? Yep, there’s not much to do in Ohio besides tipping cows (ask Tommy Boy) and stealing roasts on golf carts. [link]
Hole 4: Golf Vacations
With the winter here in most areas, none of us are really able to play much golf right now. Budget Travel Online has put together a package of places you should check out. Just let me know if you need a fourth. [link]
Hole 5: Tiger Island
Did you see how much Tiger is paying for a piece of property? The kicker is he plans to demolish everything to build what he and his wife want. Golly, he’s got more money than he knows what to do with. [link]
Hole 6: Office Golf
Ever get bored with your co-workers and end up playing hoops with wadded up pieces of paper and a trashcan? Now, there’s equipment meant just for the office, and you can work on your golf game. Who says you can’t play hard and work hard? [link]
Hole 7: Gos Golf
For those of you who enjoy celebrity gossip. Check out these pictures of Kevin Federline (Britney Spear’s husband) playing golf at Malibu Country Club (I think). [link]
Hole 8: King of Kapalua
I know I said I’m not all that interested in the Tour right now, but I have to mention this. Stuart Appleby wins Kapalua again! Now, that’s impressive. [link]
Hole 9: Big Break V
For me the Big Break is getting pretty old. I was reading Stacy’s article yesterday and completely agree with Erik on this one. They need to call the girls of the Big Break V by their month names. Otherwise, I won’t watch. So Miss January, I’m rooting for you. Oh, and I’d be surprised if this calendar sold anymore that 100 copies. Have you looked at the pictures? [link]
