Volume Forty-Three

This week’s links are sure to jump-start your week.

Hittin' the LinksHope you all enjoyed the celebrity-infused golf this weekend. I sure did. There’s something about watching celebs play golf that completely entices me. I get sucked into the television and lose hours of my life watching A-C list celebs hack it around the course.

I think I need to see someone about this problem. Now, on to the links.

Hole 1: Bush League Golf
This one is for all you Michael Moore fans. It’s a clip of GWB on the course talking politics. It’s a scene from Farenheit 911. See what else you can find on google and paste in the comments. [link]

Hole 2: Fuzzy Headcovers
I’m not sure where I found this link. But I do love the old style headcovers with the big, fuzzy ball on top of them. I’ve got one and think it looks really cool compared to all the big, stiff foam ones people are getting these days. [link]

Hole 3: Baseball and Golf
When I was a kid, my grandfather, who is a Detroit Tigers fan (who turned me into one as well) took my brother and I to this to get autographs from a bunch of players. I remember how fun I was to have all the guys sign my hat. If you’re in the area, you should check it out. [link]

Hole 4: Daly Show
Unfortunately, I haven’t got to see John Daly’s new reality show, yet. I plan to cause I love the guy. And apparently, the guys at Deadspin do as well. [link]

Golf and Goss
Here’s a fun little picture of Cameron Diaz on the course throwing a golf club. I’m not sure if it’s the Bob Hope Classic. Regardless, check out pictures of Cameron. [link]

Hole 6: Golf Simulator
The way I assemble the links is that I bookmark a few of my favorites that I find throughout the week. This past week, BogeyLounge beat me to one of the ones I wanted to post. So, since he did that I’ll just link to him and let him explain it. [link]

Hole 7: Hole-in-One
Roger Clemens gets a hole-in-one at the Bob Hope Classic. I wonder if he won a Chrysler, the title sponsor? Not that he needs one. [link]

Hole 8: Lighter Lefty
HOG is asking if Phil Mickelson lost some weight? Hmm, that’s a tough one. I haven’t noticed anything, but I’m putting this on my radar. This story is developing! [link]

Hole 9: Boss of the Moss
I can’t not mention the 61 fired by Loren Roberts, can I? I’m starting to like the Boss of the Moss. He reminds me of one of my best friends from high school’s father. Congrats, Mr. Roberts. [link]
