Trash-talking Danielle Amiee, probably the most outspoken and condescending of the Big Break III contestants, will be up against 49 of the top 50 players on the LPGA tour this week at what is called “the fifth major.” Currently playing golf on the Futures Tour, the 28-year old resident of Newport Beach, California, is no stranger to challenges. Amiee has already competed in both the Australian Open and LPGA Qualifying Finals. Is battling through a grueling nine week reality stint similar to a week-long tournament?
Some folks don’t even think she’ll break 80! The conensus is that there is no consensus: the pundits are split 50/50 on both her ability and her overall demeanor. “Glad she won. What a grinder, although I must say, she’d better get her head on straight before next week!”, and “I can’t stand the witch, but she won the match fair and square. It will now be interesting to see how she does in the LPGA tournaments. Maybe they can pair her with Michelle Wie during one of her invites? One thing for sure, the LPGA players will scratch her eyes out if she tries to pull this gamesmanship stuff on them. She’ll be playing with the big girls now.”
Okay, so almost everyone who watched the Big Break III secretly wished that Pam Crikelair, the golf beginner, would slaughter Danielle Amiee. But Pam, who picked up her first set of sticks as recently as three years ago, didn’t have the mental stamina to go head-to-head with Danielle. “During the match it had gotten so personal between me and Danielle that it had gone from playing to win to playing to beat Danielle,” Crikelair stated. “she ran her mouth off nonstop. Alot of it was negative comments toward me that I didn’t even think was appropriate for national TV, and I took it personally.”
The demeaning comments that constantly spewed from Danielle’s mouth would probably not be tolerated in a friendly game with your buddies, let alone Annika Sorenstam or Se Ri Pak, defending champion at this year’s event. Will Amiee even get the opportunity to play with one of them? With random pairings, it could happen.
It’s possible, even probable, that this tournament will be a non-event for Danielle. However, with three more sponsor’s exemptions in her future, she might even break through the elimination round and onto the finals of one of the LPGA tournaments. But, like it or not, Danielle has won an event. She’s the official winner of The Big Break III. She’ll even show you the cherry-red Crossfire convertible she won!

I’d say a 5% chance that she will make it past the cut. Pam, although not as good as her, has SO much more potential, and with good coaching could go much further. Danielle already competes, and her results have not been spectacular.
