For once in my life, I’ve remembered Father’s Day (Sunday, June 19) far enough in advance that I can get my dad something nice. Normally, my dad get’s a phone call on that day, nothing more because I never actually remember it being Father’s Day. The same thing happens to my mom, so it’s not like I’m picking favorites or anything. Since my dad is a huge golfer, I decided that I’d find something golf related for him. Surely, he’ll enjoy that, he’s the one that taught me the game.
Since I like to get the most for my money, I started doing some research. Here’s some ideas I came up with for my father. If nothing more, take this as a reminder that Father’s Day is rapidly approaching.
Scotty Cameron Assessories – There’s so many options here: cameron cube, leather assessories, putter headcovers. I think these are the classy options of the bunch. My father likes nice things. This could work.
Overstock liquidation sale – There are a few nice Ashworth shirts in this lot.
Collegiate golf headcovers – This is a really nice idea for a dad who is obsessed with his collegiate alma-mater.
Golf Toilet Paper – File this one under gag gift.
Butthead Headcovers – These are funny and cheap!
MouseDriver Chronicles – A book for business-savvy father plus, it’s only $11!

does anybody know where I can buy a Cameron Cube putting training aid?
My father will of course be celebrating Father’s Day, but he is also a newly-minted retiree. I was hoping to get him a new driver and a personalized headcover for the club. Embroidered I guess. I’ve searched on-line and come up empty. Anyone out there know of such things or where I could have a headcover customized? Thanks for any suggestions.
