Ready or not, it’s already next year on the PGA TOUR. Just a week after the U.S. won the Presidents Cup (again) in Korea, three of the competitors teed it up in Napa in the season opener.

Hole #4: Thompson Wins in Korea
Lexi Thompson shot a 3-under 69 to win the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship in Incheon, Korea. [Link]
Hole #5: Fore!
Rory McIlroy was nearly hit in the head by a drive from PGA TOUR rookie Emiliano Grillo on Saturday at the Fry’s Championship. The 17th at Silverado requires a blindshot to a drivable green, not a great combo. [Link]
Hole #6: Watson Says “No Thanks” to HOF
Tom Watson turned down membership to the World Golf Hall of Fame over the firing of a friend. [Link]
Hole #7: Other Duties as Assigned
Sometimes you have to go to great lengths, or depths, for your clients. [Link]
Fishers Island PGA Assistant Professional goes snorkling to rescue client’s clubs: http://go.pga.com/1WKqsdn
Hole #8: Goats vs. Poison Ivy
I know some rough that I’d like to introduce this crew to. [Link]
Hole #9: Rivals
Earlier this month, two golf programs squared off on video in the spirit of their football rivalry. The ‘Noles won on the field. [FSU vs UMiami]
