How the heck does Tiger use a baseball swing to hit the golf ball that far?

Hittin’ the Links is back again this week with another round of point and click golf. I know that you’re probably chomping at the bit for the PGA Championship to get here, but for now, sit back, relax, and get your weekly dose of links!

Not only is this Nike commercial a classic in itself, but I’m still amazed at the distance Tiger gets when he connects his wedge to the golf ball in true baseball form. This also happened to be the commercial that made bouncing a ball on the sand wedge fun again. [Link]

I ponder this question on a daily basis while hitting golf balls, and for those of you who need Ben Hogan or Arnold Palmer’s golf swing at a moments notice – well then this website is for you! The site has archived every great golf swing imaginable from the PGA and LPGA. Try looking at Phil’s swing from 1997 compared to today’s swing. Chances are good you’ll see a big difference. [Link]

Adidas is reporting that a recent strong quarter rise of 24 percent by the sports giant is due in large part to their TaylorMade golf brand. Hole 7: PGA Championship Will be Fan-friendly
People heading to the PGA Championship in Chicago should find this article to be pretty interesting. The PGA Championship is trying to get the fans interested in golf by offering free admission to the course Monday-Wednesday, as well as offering Callaway HX balls to the first 5,000 fans through the gates.
