Volume Sixteen

These nine links should keep you going during this shortened work week.

I need to apologize for being a little late with this week’s Hittin’ the Links. I got a little too wrapped up in the Fourth of July cocktails yesterday and I’ve been a little preoccupied with the catfight going on in the golf blogging world. Anyway, I hope everyone was able to get a round of golf in this weekend.

Here’s nine links to keep you going for your shorter work week. FYI, next week’s links might be a little late as well. It’s my birthday and I’ll be on the road Monday.

Hole 1: Instant Karma
Some might call this karma. [link]

Hole 2: Catwalk to Caddyshack
Meow! It’s like Hooters, but with caddies and no hot wings. [link]

Hole 3: Todd Hamilton Exposé
I liked this piece on Todd Hamilton. It’s worth the read. The more I read about him the more I like him. I hope he does well at St. Andrews. [link]

Hole 4: Want some Jam?
His posts might be a little long (at least they are for me), but they are well worth the read. The Reluctant Jam Boy is the cat’s balls. TRJB is a recommended read! [link]

Hole 5: Peter Jacobsen Q&A
A good little Q and A with Peter Jacobson. I can’t decide if I like him or not. His shows on The Golf Channel aren’t my favorites though. [link]

Hole 6: Sex Sells
I think this strategy is working. I’ve found myself watching the women play instead of watching the PGA Tour when both are on the television at the same time. [link]

Hole 7: Lehman a Playing Captain?
It appears to me that Tom Lehman is planning on doing one thing right, not playing Tiger and Phil together at the Ryder Cup. My question is, why hasn’t he ruled himself out of playing yet? He’s no good. [link]

Hole 8: Jack Takes Four Skins (not Foreskins)
Jack’s still got a little game, y’all. What are the odds he makes the cut at the Open? 5-1? [link]

Hole 9: Conspiracy
This is an odd coincidence. [link]

  1. Hole #6… love it.

You should listen to The Teebox on Saturday mornings. Rick and Craig are a great listen.
