Hello again golf fans and welcome to yet another edition of Hittin’ the Links. So how about Steve Stricker, what an up and down day he had on Sunday. I did not realize it until I looked but Stricker has won seven tournaments in the last three years, not bad for a 44 year-old.
In this edition of HtL we begin by investigating Tiger’s Super-fan, then check out why Tiger is not in England, and find out who else is missing from this year’s Open. Also, we look into some past Open winners, try to figure out what Tiger’s big announcement is, and do a wrap-up of the week’s events. Read on!

Hole 9: Stricker Wins Three

I think Steve Stricker winning the John Deere Classic at his age is for the third time is a great accomplishment. He is comfortable there. It just goes to show how much of golf is mental. He is super confident at the John Deere and he wins. Tiger on the other hand is not confident at all and he is struggling with things right now.
