The Champions Tour is Funky, it’s PGA Tour playoff time again, and I think that dog just ate my golfball!

Hittin' the LinksWelcome again to another volume of Hittin’ the Links. Even though all the major championships are finished for the year, it has still been an interesting week in the golf. I waded through all that was out there and came up with these nine links. Enjoy.

  1. Wow, if the golf demons can play mind games with a 3 time major winner, what about the rest of us? In any case, (1) it shows what an achievement it is for those who win more than 1 major (many just have 1 “miracle” week and we hardly hear from them again) and (2) just how great Tiger Woods is.

  2. Let’s hope that Michelle Wie does the right thing and go to Q-school, get her card, come up with a proper LPGA schedule for the next season, show us how competitive she is and even win a major or two. Once she starts building a winning resume, we’ll soon forget about her recent past failures and “wild” adventures.
