  1. Hi guys, I bought a second hand Ping K15 on ebay knowing it was damaged, I got it very cheap (£35) it has a small dent in the side but does not have any marks on the face or any problems with the shaft. I've hit over 100 practice balls down the driving range and not sure if the dent is affecting the playability of the driver, I'm fairy new to golf and bought the driver with a stiff shaft as I believe I have a fast swing, I am 6FT 6IN and quite a big lump so have lots of power, now I would say 80% of my tee shots are straight but the distance is a worry, it seems I am only hitting 230yds at a push ? I am not sure if the dent is affecting the distance but I feel I am striking the ball off the tee sweetly (At the driving range I line the driver up so the head is not resting on the ground but is hovering about 1inch from the ground, when I follow through I hit the ball without the driver touching the ground and it makes that classic tin noise) The Driver has a loft of 10.5 I would say that most of the tee shots seem too high and am thinking this could be the problem with the lack of difference. Anyone own a K15 that can advise on different lofts or any advise please. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the reply mate, but forgive my ignorance, what's the point in having 3 wedges ? I know they are different settings and if I am right in saying you would pick like a 52 - 56 - 60 ? As a high handicapper should I not just pick 1 ? Is there much difference in distance from a 52 to 56 ?
  3. Evening all, first time poster so here goes, I have been playing golf on and off for the past 15 years, I've decided to really get stuck in and forked out for some second hand clubs, I bought a set of callaway x16 and the set did not come with a SW After reading a few reviews and people's opinions it seems that the cleveland cg 15 or 16 are a good choice, but what would be the best degree to get, so far I have seen 52-62 If anyone has any other wedge suggestions please feel free to add your comments.
