Yea I know zero about the terminology used. I really love the game but man does it get frustrating making the same mistakes over and over. I love to compete but since high school that edge is gone and I want to get into golf so I have a sport to play and get better at. Really looking forward to getting better.

. For every shot I hit in the air there is five that I top and hit left & right on the ground. Hitting the driver is a mystery to me and cant get it more than 5 feet off the ground. I am signed up to start group lessons this week as I really enjoy playing but get discouraged because I do not know what I am doing wrong and feel just hitting the ball badly over and over isn't helping anything. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
