I just started playing and my launch angle is too high. I've had it measured around 17-20, but I just got back from the driving range and I'm hitting it really high. How can I get it down? What determines launch angle? I know there probably isn't a simple answer to this, but any help is appreciated.

I tried a bunch of drivers at Golfsmith the other day. I slice it pretty bad with most of them(I know it's me and not the clubs) and hit around 270 when it stays in my fairway I tried the Hibore XLS and I hit it straight most of the time and around 290. My longest was 329.5 yards. If they had a used one I would have bought it. I got a SQ Sumo instead.
