Hi guys!
Completely new here and semi new to the sport. A little background; I had lessons as a kid and have always loved the sport so I got back into it this year. 3 months ago I got back into the sport and then got lessons. I was hitting my pitching wedge high and straight, my 5 iron 200+ etc. I felt great. Stopped doing lessons and just kept playing for the past month and realized I've grown into a strong grip so I went with it. After playing a few times I improved my game by 20 strokes(still 110-120 golfer though). I've been going to the range and now I cannot get any height on my pitching nor even hit my irons especially my 5. I pull everything and line drive when I hit it straight. I have no idea how within 1 month my game could have gotten so terrible. Could it be I'm too stiff and tense cause I've been practicing too much? Is it mental?
