  1. Putter (of course!) and 5 or 6 iron for me.
  2. Hello! Not too long ago I bought a tripod to film my golf swing along with my iPad Mini that I use for recording. Not long after, I purchased the V1 Plus version of the app on sale at the time for only $20. I am writing because I am looking to invest in a swing analysis software (preferably CD format) and here are a few that I was looking into getting: V1 Golf Software (circa 2007) V1 Golf Home Premium Software Leadbetter Interactive Box Set As far as software goes, I am currently doing swing analysis on my iPad but would like to get a software without a yearly payment. I have 2 laptops. One has the Windows 7 software and the other has the Windows 10 software. The first software on the list above, I was able to find one on eBay. The 2nd and 3rd choices I was able to come across a couple websites like Amazon and PracticeRange.com Have any of you tried these different products before? And do they work well with both software versions that I just mentioned (Windows 7 and 10). I would really appreciate the input. Thanks! Paul
  3. Hey everyone! A while ago, I was on the golf digest website and there was a post regarding nutrition that had a list of foods and under those foods had categories that were: Always, Sometimes , Often, Rarely, and Never. I tried to look for it again through golf digest and through google but to no avail. If anyone can find the post that I had briefly mentioned, let me know. Thanks!
  4. Hello Fellow Golfers! I have been playing golf for about a few years already since I seriously took it up back in 2013-2014. I usually shoot anywhere between low 80's to mid 90's. This year though, I haven't been able to play much however due to family reasons and school work. I use Golfshot GPS for tracking my rounds and stats. According to my Golfshot profile, my handicap is currently a dreading 40.4. :-/ And the one thing I wanted to ask you all is: Can you help suggest/recommend any good sets of irons out there for my average scores/handicap level. Currently, I am gaming the TaylorMade 360 Irons and I want to try something more newer. I am open to all brands and models and would be willing to spend a little extra money for the performance of the clubs (I.e. shaft upgrades, grip upgrades, etc.). I am also looking for something with not only forgiveness and distance, but with a hint of workability to play different types of shots such as: Low Draw, Low Straight, Low Fade, Medium Draw, Medium Straight, Medium Fade, High Draw, High Straight, and High Fade Your help and contributions would be greatly appreciated!! Fairways and Greens! Paul
  5. Hello, I'm looking to improve my cardiovascular, endurance and heart rate for my golf and I was wondering what are some of the best cardio workout exercises for bike? I saw some workouts like: stationary bike, jog, fast walk, row, run, shuttle, box jump, cardio machines, etc. Those are some of the examples I had and I was curious to see what kind of cardio workouts that you guys do to improve your heart rate and endurance for golf. Just my 2 cents. Any help would be appreciated! Paul S.
  6. Hello Fellow Sand Trap Members! My name is Paul and I have been playing golf on and off since I was about 8-9 years old. I've started playing golf again since 2013. I play golf anywhere between 1-4 times a week during the spring and summer weeks when I can. When I got back in the game, I was given a set of clubs from a friend of mine. It had a TaylorMade Driver, Irons, Putter, and a Cleveland Gap Wedge. Right now, I currently have a TaylorMade driver, Adams fairway woods, taylormade irons, Cleveland gap wedge, Fire Sole, Sand Wedge, and Knight Lob Wedge. I have already been playing this game seriously for already a few years and I have been having thoughts about some new clubs. My current set of clubs are: TaylorMade R1 Driver- 12 degrees Adams Tight Lies Air Assault 3 wood and 5 wood Taylormade 360 Irons (4 to PW) Cleveland 52 degree wedge Fire Hawk Sand Wedge Knight 60 degree wedge I have been to my local Golfsmith store already looking at some new golf clubs and this is the set configuration I had in mind (From Driver to Wedge): Driver: TaylorMade R15 (430 cc clubhead, 12 degrees) Fairway Wood: TaylorMade RBZ Stage 2 (3 wood- 15 degrees) Hybrids: TaylorMade AeroBurner (3 hybrid, 4 hybrid, 5 hybrid) Irons: Ping G30 (6 Iron, 7 Iron, 8 Iron, 9 Iron) Titleist Vokey SM5 Wedges: (48.08 F Grind, 52.02 F Grind, 56.10 M Grind, 60.10 K Grind) This here is my desired set of clubs from the driver down to the wedge. The main question I have is, what kind of golf clubs should I be looking to get, I put up my set configurations (current and future) and I was wondering what would your take be on current clubs versus looking into new ones. Thanks and happy golfing!!!! Paul S.
