  1. I have been using Hudl Technique for golf on the ipad. I can upload the files from that to hudl and then watch them on any device. There is a Hudl Technique and Hudl Technique for Golf for the iPad, but the golf version is not available for android just the regular. It films fine but there is not an "upload" button on it as there is in the iOS version...I'll check out the V1 Golf and see how I like it. I have the tripod adapters for both the phone and iPad. Just took a couple of swings in the yard filming with the phone. I can mark them up with lines/circles and the like but need to figure the best way to get off of the phone as I really don't want to watch them on the phone...I'm old and need a bigger picture lol At first glance it looks like the phone does a better video than the older iPad. I'll know more when I get it on the computer. Have to head out now to supervise a football game. One way or another I'm gonna get my game consistent again.
  2. After lurking for a long time, I finally signed up and joined the other day. I am going to start a member swing thread and filmed myself with my iPad4. The shaft is distorted in the swing and it is hard to tell where it really is on the downswing. I have it and a Samsung Galaxy S8 phone, which probably has a better video camera on it as it is 4 or 5 years newer. Have not tried the phone for video yet but will if some of you have success with it. What is a good camera to use to film the high speed swings? I don't mind getting a good one but don't want to go overboard...thoughts? What are you guys using? Thanks, Keith
  3. Just wanted to introduce myself as I have been lurking for a while but decided to take the plunge and join. I am in the Kansas City area. I played a lot when I was a kid through college, never had a lesson in my life. Then life got in the way and I probably only played about 3 times in the next 20 years. 16 years ago started playing again, a lot and got my handicap down to a 5 on our course. Body started falling apart, low back problems, hip problems, rotator cuff problems...my younger years caught up to me. For about 5 years I hardly played as I couldn't do it. This year my body is back to where it can handle the game and I am determined to get it back....just watched myself on video for the first time ever, was quite interesting. Anyway, glad to be here and look forward to conversing with you guys. There seems to be a ton of good information on here and people give advice freely for the most part. Keith
