  1. It doesn't have to be recent data. Data from summer or whenever is just as good I have spent several hours searching the internet for data with no luck so far. The links you mention make for interesting readings, but I see no raw data for me to use. Nothing groundbreaking! The main purpose is simply to apply various machine learning techniques taught in the course. My initial thoughts are to investigate what effect the different factors of the golf swing has on the ball flight. Probably all known stuff but my aim is not to make any new discoveries.
  2. Hi, Long story short: I need outdoors Trackman swing data for a research project. If you have any and you are willing to share, please send them to me at julius.madsen@gmail.com as a PDF or whatever format you prefer. The slightly longer story: I am a computer science student currently following a course in machine learning. During the course there are three projects in which I have to analyze and apply various methods to a dataset. I would very much love to work with the golf swing from the perspective of machine learning, and I think that data from Trackman would be a perfect fit to do so. I tried to reach out to Trackman (their headquarters is 10 minutes from where I live), but they cannot give me any data as this is owned by their users. I do not currently have access to a Trackman device myself. Hence my request here. if you have Trackman swing data and you are willing to share it with me, I would be forever grateful! The data must be measured outside, but other than that I have no requirements - it doesn't matter if you are a scratch golfer or a 40 handicapper, the quality of your golf swing is not important. I believe that data can be exported from Trackman to PDF, but if any other data formats are possible (Excel, CSV, JSON or whatever) that is fine for me as well. You can send me the data at julius.madsen@gmail.com and of course I will follow up in this thread if there are any questions or comments. I really hope that some of you who have the opportunity will take a moment to help me out. It would be greatly appreciated! Best regards, Julius
