I am a fledgling player (have played fewer than 10 rounds - spanning the past 3 years) so I'm not sure if you will appreciate my input, but using my ft-i with 9.5* loft, I can hit Heaven. Living in the Appalachian Mountains, most every course is narrow, surrounded by woods, and typically having creeks winding through the links. I would much rather reach my target in the air, than to risk losing a ball that rolled too far.

A cousin of mine boasts about having every magazine cover Woods has appeared upon. I find it strange that a reformed punk and current coal miner has a favorite athlete like Tiger Woods and prefers the Yankees above all other sports teams, but that is the society we live in today. Media and fanbase do not reward the best person on the tour, merely the best athlete.

About 5 miles from my house, there is a country club where I don't play. There are probably two course within 20 miles of me, but that is 20 or so miles of winding, climbing, back-switching mountains. I live in the mountains of the coal bucket, and most of the courses here are 9-holes, but affordable. I can cross in to West Virginia and walk Black Wolf Links (which is absolutely the only thing you will find on this road) twice (18 hole total) for $10. Here is a quick, off-topic question - Are the club lists in signatures just an image code?
