  1. Alright fellas, help me decide on which driver to buy. I'm thinking of getting an Adams driver since they seem to get pretty good reviews and there are a ton of specials on them right now. The two models I'm looking at are the Redline RPM Draw and the RPM draw (not the RPM 460D with the moveable weights). I don't really know what the difference is between these two except that it seems the "Redline" has a composite top. The other difference seems to be that most of the sites have the RPM with a Grafalloy shaft and the Redline RPM with a Fujikura shaft. Which would y'all recommend? I was leaning towards the RPM since it had the Grafalloy Blue shaft, but if the Fujikura is just as good I might go with it. Thanks for your help.
  2. BTW, I probably should have said I'm just starting to get back into the swing (pun intended) after about a two year hiatus. Before the layoff I was consistently shooting in the high 80's to low 90's.
  3. I realize I'm probably opening a can of worms here and that I'll probably get a different opinion from every person that I ask, but I need some help in deciding on a new set of irons. Right now the clubs in the running are: Adams Idea A1 - I found a good deal on a 5-PW set which will open me up for trying a hybrid 3 & 4 Adams GT3 - nice looking, seems to get good reviews and there are a ton of places with great buys on sets with gap and sand wedges included Adams GT2 - probably a year older than the GT3, same kind of deal on these as the GT3's but I like the appearance of these just a little better. Those are the selections that I can buy right away. Now here are some that I'm considering but would have to save a little more for: Adams Idea A2 - I like these but not the OS version. Hybrid 3 & 4's are okay but I don't like the looks of the 5 & 6 hybrids. If I chose these I would probably go with the A1 for a better price (I think they're only one model year older) Taylor Made rac OS - good looking club, good prices at some places but I've heard that they feel a little light (of course I would handle them in the store before I make any decision) Nickent 3dx - if I can find any around to look at I'm very tempted by the Adams and the Taylor Mades mostly. Right now the Adams are in the lead due to price alone. Thanks in advance for your help!
