  1. I've been Playing Golf for: 18 years My current handicap index or average score is: 10 handicap My typical ball flight is: sometimes a slight draw and sometimes a slight cut ( currently a cut ) The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: the pull hook and the push slice Videos: [ ] Hello all. I've been a long time lurker and just recently made an account. My game can be pretty inconsistent. I can go out some days and shoot par and other days I'm struggling to break 90. My biggest problem is lost balls off the tee. That's where all my compounding strokes come from in a round. If I'm not good off the tee the round will be junk. If im good off the tee my round is great. I average about 300 off the tee and hit it fairly long so when my driver is in play I usually have a short iron in on the par 4s. I'm a chronic over thinker on the course and as soon as one specific miss takes place I instantly start using mechanical swing thoughts during my swing for the rest of the round and that usually sends me astray. I shot a 73 today and only missed 1 fairway. Been trying to focus today on only the target and pretend in my head that I'm making a practice swing with an empty mind during the swing. The problem is I know my swing needs some work but there is no driving range at our course or in the town and the closest range is a couple of hours away so anything I try to change or work on has to be done during my round of golf which feels impossible because I feel as if I can't hit a good golf shot with a swing thought. But I need to find out what faults are killing my consistency because tomorrow I might shoot a 90 lol. Any critique or advice would be greatly appreciated. This swing was recorded after my 73 today and I hit the ball very well in the video so this is the closest my swing probably gets to good. Thank you!
