New Blades or Old Blades?

ha thanks but i forgot to change my handicap thing it is actually a 10 but i have more problems with my driver than my irons, i need something sweet but cheap, the blades i have i think are from the 80's .....would u lik me to change my picture...haha dont let the headband deceive you, im actually a good golfer haha -
Im in the market for clubs and i have been playing with hogan medallion clubs, im looking for a blade set but not sure which to choose. I have a set of old Jack Nicklaus Heritage Blades and that will save me money all i have to do is change the shafts and grips but should i do that or just go out and buy a new set? Is technology that advanced now to change the blades?
