Hi guys and gals,
I am new to the site and I am very impressed with it's layout.
I have only played 4-5 rounds of golf in my life. Last year I swore to myself that I would improve my game, but it never happened. Part of my problem was I didn't take any lessons. I was scoring in the 120-130 range (Yuck)
This year, I have received a lesson and gone to the chipping/putting green to work on my game and my first round of golf was so satisfying. We played 9 holes and I scored a 53. Yes I know, a 53 is nothing to write home about, but there was a huge difference in my ability to simply the game. My buddy is a good golfer and scores well and he was completely stoked on how much I had improved.
He and I came up with a list of goals for me to reach this year which I thought was crucial to my success this season.
My question now is...What is next?
More lessons? More practice? More play time?
I have only received 3 lessons in the last year. but the most recent game I played, I played my best round by far.
Thanks guys and I look forward to hearing your comments!
