  2. Awesome advice everyone i have been working on many of the things that have been mentioned and i can see an immediate improvement! Heres hoping i can keep it up.
  3. Recenty i have been battling some pitching troubles. I have lost complete confidence when i am faced with a pitch shot around the green especially off the fairway. I either thin the ball or mostly hit it fat. I have had many people tell me i am deccelerating at impact so i have been working on this but i still have the odd shot that feels fine but the club litterally goes straight under the ball and i fluff it 10 15 metres in front of me! Help! Is there is a possibilty this is because i am using the wrong wedges with the wrong bounce angles?
  4. Ok, interesting. It was actually my local pro who fitted them!! It would make sense that the shafts are too flexed as generally my ball flight is considerably lower than most of my golfing buddys. I think i shall have a wee talk to him about that next time i see him!
  5. Yeah i have an older model Taylormade Burner stand bag with a good strapping system. I have been to a phsiotherapist and learnt some exercises to help my back which have helped but its still not great. I think i will look out for a lighter bag and put some thought into what i carry around in my bag. Im also going to do more stretches and hopefully i will see an improvement. I still wouldnt mind a new bag(OGio preferably) as my one is a bit older and battered and i imagine its not one of the lighter golf bags ever made.
  6. Currently i am wondering what golf bag i need to buy as i am only 16 but have a really sore back from carrying a bag around the golf course almost every day. I would really like to be able to use a cart bag to give my back a rest however there are some occasions when i really need a carry bag such as when im travelling. Is there any way i can put a carry bag on a trundler with out it looking rubbish. I really like the look of the Ogio Golf bags. Let me know your thoughts
  7. Whats everyones thoughts on these new balls from srixon, in bright yellow! Is there a difference between the normal and the yellow z-starx or whatever they call it? I have a rough one that a played with the other day and it felt decent!
  8. I bought 3 through PW but recently ditched the 3 iron as i have been having similar issues to the 4 iron. They are fitted with project x 6.0s which i was originally fitted for but i am a lot stronger now which may make a difference.....
  9. I have the titleist AP2 forged Irons......Standard lies and lengths at current
  10. I just recently bought a Taylormade Rossa Vicino Spider "tour issue" putter which has the movable weight technology in the back. They come standard with 4gram weights in each side and i was wondering what combinations people have in their spider putters as i would consider buying some different weights to improve my strok but i am not really sure how to go about this..............
  11. Thanks for all the opinions, next time i see my local pro im definately going to get it checked out, if it turns out it is fine i am definately going to try a more lofted hybrid (i carry an 18 degree hybrid currently).
  12. I am having some troubles with my 4 iron at the moment. Instead of the desirable mid ball flight i have with my 5 iron, the 4 iron is all over the show, even when i feel ive put a good swing to it the ball flight is low and goes no where at all, and a nagging cut. I have considered putting a hybrid in its place but before i go ahead and do that i want to know if anyone has some advice for me.........cheers
