  1. went up to sports authority and looked around again and started looking at the 2010 nike slingshots.. they only had right handed but they felt good in my hand and look real good, they also feel smooth, plus they got great reviews. They dont have lefties in that either so i think im going to get some online
  2. Yea I might end up going with some Taylormade burner Hts, more expensive but also a good beginner set and they are known to be a good quality brand so i guess I cant go wrong there. The store didnt have lefties but they can send some in... sucks that these stores dont show lefties any love so I just hope for the best i guess.
  3. Yea def talking about the new ones brand new in store for 199. They felt great in the store but did not actually get to hit with them so I just wana make sure Tommy Armour is good quality and see if these are actually good irons. Hopefully someone has used these and can compare them personally to others.
  4. Im talking about this set brand new, 199 new in the store. http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11414211&cp;=3052500.3053437.3243986&fbc;=1&f;=Brand%2F141%2F&fbn;=Brand%7CTommy+Armour&lmdn;=Brand&parentPage;=family
  5. Im looking for new Irons and I am a pretty high handicap. I came across the Tommy Armour 845 irons on sale at Sports Authority for 199. They feel good and light when i swing it and they look nice as well with the dark color to them. I am a lefty though so trying stuff out at the stores is tough. So the main thing is does anyone know much about these irons or how good of quality Tommy Armour is?? Are these irons good for beginners and if anyone has used these what did you think?
  6. After going to dickssportinggoods and messing with their irons i have found 2 that i really like. The nike slingshots and the taylormade burner ht, both for 299. Does anyone have experience with either of these??
  7. IM not really sure if i need regular or stiff shaft, i usually always have good contact on the ball it just does not go where i would like for it to go. Thanks for the links i will def check into those
  8. Ok so i am going to be purchasing the ping g15 used on ebay once i get it verified with the person that it is the real deal and not the knockoff crap. I just need help with irons. Im looking for irons that i can find used for around 200 that are very forgiving but also have a nice look to them. Any help there??
  9. I am left handed and i dont get to play golf that often but i really enjoy it when i do play it. My brother works at a golf course we usually just play at same place. I use a set of clubs that my dad got for me from one of his work buddies and gave them to me when i first started playing. They are very old clubs and the shafts are bent also. So im mainly just needing help with clubs that will help me keep the ball straight. I always make good contact and drive it further than all my friends except for the bad hooks. I try to work on my form and all that to help my swing but i just dont play enough. Looking for lefty irons for under 300 used or new, just need some advice on brands and models i should look into. Also looking for a driver around 200 or cheaper that has a nice sweet spot and tons of distance. I know these wont make me a pro at golf or automatically make me good but i would just like some new clubs
