  1. OK so I just better work on my swing and hope to never hit a 14 in competition as that would be game over haha. Unless it's a stableford points competition
  2. So I would take an 8 on the scorecard as my handicap is between 20-29? Shouldnt you play from where the last ball was hit? Officially. I mean I do the same but I have my first competition Sunday and I'm trying to recap all rules If that happens in a competition then it would needed to be written down. Just curious what situation that would bring
  3. So, I played decently today, under my handicap until it came to the 15th hole. For some reason I couldnt hit the ball to save my life. First ball was a massive slice deep into the woods. Played my provisional ball which was a pull slice into grass as deep as hell I would never end up finding. Third ball went slicing and joined the first ball in the woods. At this point I am getting frustrated to the point I was considering giving up golf. Thought maybe a fourth ball would do it, nope...ended up pulling it and it sailed waaaaay out of bounds. I had no idea what to do at this point, risk losing any faith I had left in my golfing abilities or try to attempt to get the next one on the fairway. As if the heavens answed, my fifth ball managed to land in the rough next to the fairway...about 100m out...on a par 5 hole...I didn't care, it was like chirstmas to me! Finally a ball in play. Luckily no one was around so I could save the embarassment and carry on as normal. After 5 more hits I made it to the hole. But, what is my score? I played with my 4th provisional ball, and then hit that ball 6 times (including tee shot). My total strokes is 14??? Or can I ignore the first three provisional balls?
  4. How good is the TaylorMade Daytona Ghost Putter? Anyone got any experience from this?
  5. Ive decided to go to a club fitting store. I believe the Callaway X-20 irons are a better choice than the wilson prostaff set, especially after hearing that a customer bought the set, and after a couple of hits the driver had a dent in it. One such quality review is enough for me to turn away. But now I have a problem with filling my bag with a clubs. Only irons 4-AW I need a driver, hybrid, putter and SW. Any recommendations based on this? Ive decided I am perpared to spend $500 in total for quality. 300 on irons, 90 on putter, 110 on driver, and shit, i have no hybrid or SW
  6. Unfortunately I live in Belgium, which does not have many golf stores. I did find shops where they do club fitting in the Netherlands, but they do not have any clubs that I would want to buy. The ones they do have costs about $500 online, except in the shops it costs about 1000 euros. I also want new clubs, dont like buying second hand equipment. They dont have a large range of brand names as well.
  7. I am looking to buy my first golf club set. I have previously used my fathers set, and then my mothers which is too short for me and is 17 years old. Im surprised I even reached a 20 handicap with this Mitsubishi MV2 set! I know my clubs need to be regular length and regular-stiff flex. I want these clubs to last 5 years before I upgrade. Here is my pick: Wilson Prostaff 11 piece set http://www.amazon.com/Wilson-Mens-Pro-Staff-Piece/dp/B0021L8WJM (except for $179.99) Nike everclear E-22 putter http://shop.pgatour.com/clubs/nike/putter/everclear-e22/p_pd-1019662.aspx?gd=1 . Callaway Stand-Bag: http://shop.pgatour.com/bag/callaway/stand/hyperlite-40/p_pd-1018585.aspx?opt=aad&gd;=2 Is this set suitable for me? Are there any other sets for under $300 in total which you would reccommend?
