I definitely recommend purchasing used clubs. I am a scratch golfer and still purchase used clubs often. A couple things to watch out for buying used clubs are: - Fake brand name clubs - Wear on the club- make sure they are worn towards the center of the club. Lots of wear on the heel or toe wears down the club more and will increase the chance of it breaking. In addition to used clubs you can also consider purchasing a model that is a year or two old at a steep discount. Good luck with the game.
