  1. The Ping G10 is a little bit out of my price range. The Burners look nice and I wish I could give them a try. The closest Golf Galaxy/Golfsmith is around 90 minutes away, I'm not going to have the time to drive that far to try out some clubs. The only place I could go to is a Dick's Sporting Goods, but they are rather limited when compared to the other two stores. Looking on Ebay for a little bit, I could get some good deals on the Callaway FT-IQ driver that you mentioned, so I might just have to try to get it. Is it a bad idea to buy clubs without trying them out first?
  2. I really can't spend more than $400 so the Ping G10's are gonna have to be a no, unfortunately. However, the Burners do seem like they would be nice, but I'm not able to find them as cheap as you said. I searched on Dick's Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, and GolfSmith. As for the Callaway driver, I really don't mind the shape at all and found a good deal on E-bay for around $100. However, I don't think my local Dick's has this specific one to try out. The closest golf store is around an 1.5 hours away. Other than that, I'd have to go to Dick's, but seem to have much more limited choices.
  3. I started playing golf around two years ago from some old clubs that once belonged to my grandpa. I guess they were good for starting out, but now I'm in desperate need of new clubs. I have around $400 max to spend and right now all I'm looking for is a new iron set and a new driver. I'm not too sure as to how to divide the money between the iron set and the driver. I would like to have some forgiveness and workability as well. Right now, I'm looking at Adams Idea Tech A4-R. Comes with a 4 hybrid and 5-AW for $250 as well as a TaylorMade Burner HT for my driver for $130. I'm not too sure as to how good the irons are, so any comments would be nice. I'm open to any brand as long as it fits my price range.
