Practicing your movements in a mirror is good feedback to see if you are doing everything in the correct sequence.

RedSox has it right. When you go to the driving range you need to go out there with a purpose. If you're just hitting ball after ball without much thought you will not get anything out of it other than it being an exercise. So, by simulating holes you will have a target just as you would on the course and when you do this you should transition your game from the range to the course nicely.

This is basically what Geoff Mangum came up with several years ago but AimPoint is definitely the way to go for all green reading information.
