  2. thanks guys ...by the way which brand is the best for a soft feel ...something that doesn't hurt your hands with each shot ....thats one of my issues with the radial blades that and that they are not very forgiving by any means
  3. well i've been telling the wife i need some better irons than my hogan radial blades. She finally gave in and gave me a $250 dollar budget ....which i'm ok with i plan on buying used, open box; or ebay so 250 works for me. Now i'm a beginner i've shot 10 rounds between 99 - 108 pretty consistent...so far...i'd say i have an average swing speed ..pretty athletic person played sports my whole life....pretty smooth swing ....i' m looking for some game improvement irons or something similar...Can anyone give me suggestions on what kind of clubs i should be considering in that price range...thank you
  4. thanks for the advice guys..... well giving the description of my game and swing can anyone give me a general idea of which clubs i should be considering ....
  5. any suggestions??? also im 5'6" tall i've been told i have a very smooth swing for a beginner and my uncle says i have a "good swing speed" now i know this isnt a considered a custom fitting but please.....humor me and give me any suggestions especially hogan suggestions because i like the look of them ... also i hit my uncle s hogan apex edge i think and it felt a world of difference over my blades ....no pain in the hands and high and much more consistent ....but im up for any other suggestions and or advice..thanks
  6. Hi all, Im new at the game and have absolutly fallen in love with golf. I currently have a set of hogan radial blades which I here aren't the ideal club for the beginner. My uncle ray has been playing the game for 40 or so years and loves hogans . A few guys at the local country club hit hogans too and they all love them ...heck i love mine and i cant really hit them that well...anyways my question is which hogans would be the best for the beginner golfer....there are many nice sets on ebay just so many too choose from...i've shot just under 10 rounds and have shot between 99 and 110 just to give you an idea of my skill level
  7. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with mitsushiba golf clubs? I'm looking for thoughts and opinions... I am new to the game and to the forum ....I currently play Hogan Radials and am looking for something a little easier to hit...here is a link to the mitsushiba clubs i was considering... http://cgi.ebay.com/Mitsushiba-Mirage-Golf-Clubs-Great-Set-Irons-/320731763581?pt=Golf_Clubs&hash;=item4aad1a537d#ht_500wt_1202 ...150 and under is my budget...thanks for the help guys
  8. hi guys i'm new to this forum..and fairly new to the game..I currently own a set of Hogan blades..which are very hard to hit in my opinion.. and am looking for a good set of forgiving cavity backs. I have a Mitsushiba 8 iron it seems like a very well built club made in the USA ...Lamkin grip ....So naturally i go on ebay and found these http://cgi.ebay.com/Mitsushiba-Mirage-Golf-Clubs-Great-Set-Irons-/320731763581?pt=Golf_Clubs&hash;=item4aad1a537d#ht_500wt_1202 anybody have any experience or thoughts on these clubs as well as other mitsushiba irons .....my budget for a set of irons is under 100 (i'm married with 2 kids and a low paying job lol) Should i go ahead with these clubs or maybe look for a set of hogan cavity backs....
