Thank you everyone for the advice! I just purchased a Taylormade Burner 2.0 Driver, and it really helped me fixed my problem. I noticed that there were ball marks on the black club face whenever I hit, and I noticed the ball mark was always in the top left of the face. So I moved my club a bit further out so the ball was on the inside of the face, and I teed the ball a bit higher and VOILA! I also think a problem was my swing path going inside out possibly? I try to visualize my club kind of "gloving" the ball now. What I mean is, it feels like I am starting outside and coming in, but in reality, I am going perfectly straight because I was so accustomed to going inside out. I hope I can remember how I accomplished this, because today was the first day I have hit my driver straight, consistently, ever. I appreciate the technique video as well! I am a 18-year-old and I am 6'3" 278lbs, and with my slice I could only hit it MAYBE 200 yards, and that was on a GREAT drive. Today, I hit it 250-260. With my strength, is this a reasonable distance? My 6'1" 148lbs friend can drive it close to 240 consistently, and I was just wondering if I should be able to outdrive him a little better? Just so I can say I am better of course ;) . But again, thanks everyone for the advice! I really appreciate it!
